It really does not matter if it took you one second or two weeks to spot this. You have just passed your training period. You have just qualified to join the Virtual No71 Eagle Squadron.                      If you would now like to take this opportunity to join, please inform No71ES_Bert with your e-mail address and your chosen name. The other alternative if you are in a hurry to join, is to ask any member of the No71ES Squadron on the Zone. They will be willing to help you. Your name will be added to the Squadron Roster once you have e-mailed No71ES_Bert. Please call back for future updates / training on this page. :-)                                                          UPDATE           We are just like the French Foriegn Legion. We only need an I.D. and e-mail address. The squadron has grown over the last few months. The trend now seems to be of pilots joining from other squadrons (as well as Independent pilots). We do not mind if you are incognito. 1) We will not tell anyone your other squadron name, unless you want us to. 2) We will not and can not demand that you be on the zone at a certain time or fly X number of missions when it is obvious that the time zones are different. 3) We do not mind if you would like to take advantage of both squadrons. 4) We appreciate that you have a "Real Life" and with this comes "Real Problems". 5) The atmosphere here is of a relaxed one. :-)           Since the squad was formed on July 4th 2001 (ironically Independence day), we have 14 active pilots, 6 waiting confirmation and a Red Herring.                     See You On The Zone.  S!                                     UPDATE (2)    S!  Wow!!!! If you only knew the real names of some of the No71ES Squadron members or their Ranks in their other squadrons.... This must be now one of the best squadrons on the zone... It now seems to be that the "Very Best" from the other squadrons and the "Very Best" of the Independent Pilots are joining up... This squadron now has all the signs of becoming an "Elite Squadron"..                                    UPDATE (3)   S! September 11th 2001 will always be remembered as a tragic day for the United States & all of Humanity. Our prayers & hearts go out to all those who are affected by terrorist acts around the world.                                                                         UPDATE (4)        S! If you have just purchased the EAW game (or got it from a friend of a friend), please do not be put off or intimidated by this "Elite" comment. Not only are the pilots of No71ES very good at flying, they are also very good in the human nature department. If this has confused some of you, then remember that these pilots started somewhere!! All the pilots on the zone will remember how daunting it was to fly for the 1st time on and off line... "If you are new, we still want you".                                     UPDATE (5)        S! We have just had an offer from one of the No71ES pilots. He has offered to train or give advice to any pilot who has joined the No71ES. This will range from the basic flying to advanced flying and tactics.. All you need to do is ask. :-) Do not worry if he is not on when you are (due to different time zones etc).
